The OSCE meeting to review the implementation of commitments in the economic and environmental dimension was held in Vienna with the participation of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication AsmanNews.
The event held in Austria on October 29 focused on water resources, water use practices and introduction of advanced technologies. The representative of Turkmenistan Magtymguly Akmyradov in his speech emphasized the importance of equitable distribution of water resources and proposed ways for effective adaptation to climate change in Central Asia.
The meeting was accompanied by a discussion on water security issues. Thanks to the participation in EEDIM, the parties had an opportunity to exchange experience and improve practices on climate and water security control.
