On June 6, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, which reviewed the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies for January-May this year, TDH reports.
During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country was reported on the progress of the spring recruitment campaign, preparations for the military parade in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland, as well as the results of the past military field exercises.
It was also reported on inspections of the implementation of the provisions of legal acts conducted by the Prosecutor General's Office on the instructions of the head of Turkmenistan.
In connection with the onset of the summer season and rising temperatures, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Minister of Internal Affairs to keep strict control over the observance of the firefighting regime.
The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the country's Armed Forces has reprimanded Interior Minister M. Khydyrov for improper fulfillment of his official duties and shortcomings in his work.
The Decree on the appointment and dismissal of judges of the courts of Turkmenistan and assignment of qualification classes to them was signed during the meeting.
The President of Turkmenistan has issued a strict reprimand to the head of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, Commander of the Border Troops Y. Nuryev for improper fulfillment of his official duties and shortcomings in his work.
Then the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country was reported on the practical steps taken to implement the digital system and improve the professionalism of the staff, practical steps taken to modernize the material and technical base of the subordinate structures, strengthen the staff.
The meeting of the State Security Council also considered a number of other issues on which relevant decisions were made.
