On December 2, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev and khakims of velayats to discuss the implementation of the National Rural Program, as well as the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country, TDH reports.
During the meeting, the khakims of Akhal velayat S. Soltanmyradov, Balkan velayat H. Ashirmyradov, D. Babayev of Dashoguz velayat, M. Annanepesov of Lebap velayat, B. Orazov of Mary velayat reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural works in the regions of the country.
As it was noted, necessary measures for cotton harvest without losses and timely settlements with agrarians for the crop handed over to the state are being implemented on agricultural lands of velayats.
In accordance with the tasks set to ensure food abundance in the country, vegetative irrigation and feeding with mineral fertilizers continue in the wheat fields of the regions.
At the same time, to prepare areas under cotton for the next sowing season, work on enrichment of lands with mineral fertilizers and plowing is carried out.
Hyakimy also reported on the preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the International Day of Neutrality widely celebrated in the country, on the construction of social-cultural and industrial facilities, which are scheduled to be commissioned in December.
Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev reported on the progress of the ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.
As it was noted, these days in velayats work is underway to harvest cotton to the last boll.
In order to obtain uniform sprouts of wheat, care in accordance with agrotechnical norms is carried out, in particular, feeding with mineral fertilizers and vegetative irrigation. Plowing and enrichment of soil with mineral fertilizers are carried out on the areas to be sown with cotton next year.
At the same time, the fleet of agricultural machinery is being renewed and special equipment and units that will be used in the spring sowing season are being repaired.
In order to provide the daihan with sufficient bioproducts in the next year, reconstruction works are being carried out in the velayats' bioproduction enterprises, as well as providing them with raw materials and equipment.
In Mary velayat measures on sugar beet harvesting and timely completion of this season are being implemented.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of the agricultural sector in the development of the national economy, noting in this context the need to conduct the current seasonal activities at the proper qualitative and organizational level. The Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to keep these issues under review.
Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the President of the country emphasized the importance of wheat care. In this regard, the head of state ordered to ensure control over irrigation of fields when the first sprouts appear, feeding the soil with mineral fertilizers in accordance with agrotechnical norms, timely weed control measures in order to obtain good sprouts.
The head of state stressed the importance of harvesting "white gold" to the last boll, and instructed to keep under strict control the plowing of fields for sowing cotton next year and feeding the soil with phosphorus fertilizers.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to provide daihans with agricultural equipment for seasonal activities, to properly establish bio-products production at bio-enterprises, to maintain them at a proper level and to supply them with raw materials in a timely manner.
At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to make full settlements with cotton producers, keep under control payments for consumption of oil products for agricultural machinery in Daykhan associations, ensure timely mutual settlements of cotton and wheat producers with service enterprises for this year's cotton and next year's wheat harvest, harvest sugar beets in Mary province without losses, as well as keep in view the progress of implementation of tasks provided for by the National Rural Program.
At the same time, the President of the country ordered to prepare at a high level for the International Day of Neutrality. In addition, it is necessary to ensure unrelenting control over the supply of markets and stores with an abundance of various products during the holidays, and to properly prepare for the opening of social and industrial facilities in the velayats.
