On July 17, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Nurlan Nogaev presented his credentials to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, TDH reports.
The diplomat conveyed to the President of the country and the National Leader of the Turkmen people warm words of greetings from the leader of the brotherly state Kasym-Jomart Tokayev.
Thanking for the kind words and congratulating Nurlan Nogaev on his appointment to the responsible post, the head of state conveyed his best wishes to the top leadership of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the positive nature of cooperation in energy and transportation was noted.
Huge reserves of natural resources and favorable geographical features of the two friendly countries create opportunities for mutually beneficial projects in these areas.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the diplomat noted the importance of strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties. In this regard, they noted the installation of a sculpture to the famous Kazakh composer and musician Kurmangazy Sagyrbayuly in the recently opened cultural and park complex "Makhtumkuli Fraghi" in Ashgabat and the successful Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan.
The visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to Astana, within the framework of which the monument to Turkmen poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi was inaugurated, was especially noted.
