The Head of Turkmenistan met with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

May 24, President of Turkmenistan met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov in Ashgabat. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting it was noted that Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan fruitfully cooperate within the UN, OSCE, ECO and CIS. The transportation and logistics sector was identified as a key area of bilateral cooperation. In this context, it was noted that Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are well located geographically, which facilitates the implementation of joint large-scale projects in the transport sector.

The sides emphasized that great importance is attached to enhancing cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The parties expressed their commitment to continue the practice of organizing mutual Days of Culture and festivals, deepening systematic contacts between representatives of creative and scientific intelligentsia.
