Turkmenistan's ambassador to Pakistan meets with the rector of a Pakistani university

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov met with the rector of Pakistan University of Technology (COMSATS), Prof. Muhammad Afzalu. This was reported by the Pakistan Daily Times online edition.

Third Secretary of the Turkmen diplomatic mission Hemra Annamuhammedov also took part in the talks. At the meeting, the diplomats discussed with the professor the prospects of attracting Turkmen students to Pakistani universities under educational programs.

The Turkmen side stressed the interest in scientific and educational cooperation between the two states and proposed to organize student exchanges and joint conferences.

The Turkmen Ambassador noted that the second meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Pakistani Working Group on Science and Education will be held soon, where representatives of the Pakistani Technological University will also take part.
