Turkmenistan and Tajikistan Foreign Ministers hold talks

Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin held talks in Dushanbe on September 13. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation in various areas. It was emphasized that interstate contacts at different levels are of particular importance in the development of effective partnership.

The Turkmen side emphasized that the Turkmen delegation arrived in Dushanbe to participate in multilateral parallel events within the framework of the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of Central Asian States and in the meeting of the IFAS founding countries.

In addition, the sides touched upon issues related to the upcoming High-Level Summit to be held in Dushanbe on September 14-15. The sides noted the importance of joint efforts in preparing for the upcoming international events.
