At yesterday's meeting of representatives of business circles of Turkmenistan and St. Petersburg (Russia) they discussed issues of development of trade and economic relations.
Heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SPPT, and relevant ministries participated in the talks on the Turkmen side. Among the Russian partners at the online meeting were representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, government agencies, manufacturing companies (construction materials, radioelectronics, equipment, etc.) and export-exhibition companies.
The meeting stressed the prospects of development of the Turkmen-Russian cooperation on the basis of the reached agreements, the successful experience of interaction between the sides and the national programs that are being implemented in Turkmenistan.
Russian partners were presented Turkmenistan's opportunities for exporting construction materials, textiles and other goods. Representatives of business circles from St. Petersburg (JSC "Avangard", Center for Development and Support of Entrepreneurship and others) expressed interest in the Turkmen market and presented their export proposals.
