The Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TKNPZ) showed a steady increase in production in the first six months of 2020 - the company exceeded the six-month plan for the production of a significant portion of petroleum products.
According to the results of January-June 2020, the complex processed 2.946 million tons of crude oil, which was 103% of the planned. We significantly exceeded our targets on such items as production of kerosene, motor gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricating oil, petroleum-based bitumen, liquefied gas and others. The semiannual production figure for motor gasoline was 104.4%, diesel fuel was 105.1%, kerosene was 101.3%, lubricating oils were 104.7%, polypropylene was 105.9% and liquefied gas was 180.7%.
Thanks to the modernization of production and the use of advanced technologies, the products manufactured by TKNPZ are characterized by an excellent degree of quality. They are fully compliant with current global standards. And the production itself is the most environmentally friendly for this sphere. The design capacity of the enterprise allows it to produce over 2 million tons of fuel oil annually, as well as to process 250 thousand tons of liquefied gas and 230 thousand tons of gasoline with a low octane number.
The deepening of oil refining has contributed to an increase in the production of petroleum products. The implemented innovations allow the complex to produce popular products of excellent quality. And it will undoubtedly contribute to further economic development of Turkmenistan.
