President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on May 31, where topical issues of the country's life were discussed, TDH reported.
In the course of the meeting the Chairman of Mejlis D. Gulmanova informed about the preparation of draft laws on the cultural heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and improved Civil Code, as well as about amendments and additions to a number of laws, about the measures being implemented to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation with international organizations.
Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimiradov reported on the fulfillment of the assignment of the President of Turkmenistan to develop drafts of the State Budget for 2025, the main directions of socio-economic development of the country and the Investment Program.
The key objectives for the next year are: maintaining macroeconomic stability, further dynamic development of economic sectors, investing the bulk of investments in radical modernization of production facilities, formation of a favorable business environment and improvement of living standards of the population.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025.
During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the work carried out by the State Concern "Türkmengaz" within the framework of the development of the gas field "Galkynyş".
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev informed about preparations for the scientific-practical conference "Turkmenistan - the Motherland of Ecological Wellbeing" to be held on June 5 on the occasion of World Environment Day,
Then Deputy Prime Minister reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural work in the country, preparations for the beginning of the harvesting season.
The President of Turkmenistan gave his blessing to start grain harvesting in Akhal, Lebap and Mary velayats on June 7, and in Balkan and Dashoguz velayats - on June 14 this year.
During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Mammadova reported on preparations for the Week of Culture, which is scheduled to be held in the city of Arkadag.
In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Amannepesov reported on the results of the contest of scientific works among the youth of Turkmenistan.
Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov reported on the results of the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the results of the working visit to the Italian Republic.
Then Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers M. Chakyev informed about new regular bus services on the routes Ashgabat-Avaza-Ashgabat, as well as in the direction of sanatoriums Bagabat, Archman, Mollakara, Farab and Bayramali, opening of new flights on the route Mary-Turkmenbashi-Mary, Turkmenabat-Turkmenbashi-Turkmenabat.
During the meeting, a number of other issues of state life were also considered and decisions were taken on them.
