A regular meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan T. Atakhallyev and Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Ziyozod Sulaimon Rizoi was held in Dushanbe on November 27-28. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the expansion of cooperation in such spheres as education, science, medicine, culture and sports. The need to intensify business ties and search for new ways to expand economic cooperation was expressed.
The meeting resulted in the signing of the Protocol of the twelfth meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
