The Turkmen taekwondo team returned from the first Central Asian Taekwondo Championship of the ITF non-Olympic version with 19 awards of various values. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Athletes from Turkmenistan arrived in Tashkent, where the Championship was held, with 13 members. During the competition, Turkmen taekwondists climbed to the top step of the podium 10 times, winning ten gold medals. The national team also received 2 silver and 7 bronze medals during the competition.
It is noted that the national team of Turkmenistan became the best in demonstration performances among men and women.
These high results of the national team became possible thanks to the state policy of the country, which promotes the creation of optimal training conditions for professional athletes.
