Students from Turkmenistan were trained in Malaysia

A teacher and five students of the International University of Humanities and Development have completed participation in the Summer Educational Program "Future is Now", which was held from August 3 to 9 at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur. During the week-long program, the Turkmen participants studied new disciplines, improved their professional competencies and got acquainted with the best international practices and innovative methods in the field of education.

The opportunity to participate in the educational program appeared thanks to the Memorandum of Understanding concluded between the Turkmen and Malaysian universities on December 18, 2024. The agreement envisages academic exchanges of students and teachers, implementation of joint research projects and strengthening of Turkmen-Malaysian partnership in the scientific and educational sphere.

Universiti Malaya is the oldest public research university in Malaysia and is one of the prestigious group of the top five research universities in the country.

Participation of Turkmen representatives in international educational initiatives contributes to improving the qualifications of pedagogical staff, training high-level specialists and strengthening the positions of Turkmen higher educational institutions in the world arena.
