Turkmenistan and China discussed issues of strategic partnership

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov and Deputy Secretary General of the People's Government of Hangzhou Xu Qingshan held talks today. The sides conducted a detailed analysis of the current state and prospects of Turkmen-Chinese strategic cooperation. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting emphasized the high appreciation of the city of Arkadag, which received a certificate of excellence from Hangzhou Dianzi University as an exemplary eco-friendly settlement. The main attention was paid to the prospects for the implementation of joint projects in the field of innovation, artificial intelligence and high technology, including the implementation of solutions for "smart cities".

The two sides also emphasized the importance of sports exchanges for strengthening bilateral relations.

The meeting confirmed mutual interest in further intensification of regional cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in a wide range of areas.
