Customs officers of Turkmenistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan discussed cooperation

Representatives of the customs services of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey held an online meeting on the implementation of the joint Memorandum of Understanding and establishment of the Joint Consultative Group on Customs Cooperation. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

During the meeting, the sides determined the place and time of the first meeting of the Joint Consultative Group on Customs Cooperation. In addition, the meeting participants reached an agreement on the exchange of information on goods and vehicles crossing the borders of the three states.

The document between the governments of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey on simplification of customs procedures and exchange of information was signed in 2022 in Turkmenbashi.
