In honor of the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, the tallest buildings in Ankara were painted in the colors of the national flag of Turkmenistan on September 27. This was reported by the Internet publication "AsmanNews.
The building of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Exchanges of the Republic of Turkey and the main observation tower "Atakule" of 125 meters were painted in the colors of the Turkmen flag, the inscription "Happy Independence Day of Turkmenistan" was displayed on the tower "Atakule" in Turkish and English languages. A video on the big screen showed the achievements of Turkmenistan during the years of independence. The event was a symbol of traditionally friendly and fraternal relations between the Turkmen and Turkish peoples.
It should be recalled that Turkmenistan and Turkey effectively cooperate both in bilateral format and within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, TURKSOY, the UN and other authoritative organizations.
