During an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reshuffled personnel at the Ministry of Agriculture. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.
Chetiev Charyyar Purievich was appointed as Minister of Agriculture, replacing Nazarmyrat Nazarmyradov. Nazarmyradov was relieved of his post due to transfer to another job.
Charyyar Chetiev had previously served as Deputy Minister of Agriculture, since 2012 he worked in various positions in the Land Resources Service under the Ministry of Agriculture. Since 2016, he was the chief specialist of the structural unit of the State Committee for Environmental Protection and Land Resources. From 2019 he served in the Ministry of Agriculture, in 2022 he became deputy minister.
