During an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan summarized the results of 2023 in trade, textile industry and private sector. This was reported by the Internet publication "TurkmenPortal".
According to the report of Deputy Prime Minister B. Atdaev, the growth of the volume of turnover in comparison with 2022 amounted to 101.8%, production of products - 102.9%. The total output of the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry amounted to 107.2% of the planned, garments and knitwear - 104.2%, leather goods - 1,00%. The plan for carpet production was fulfilled by 104%.
The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan held 300 trades in 2023, which resulted in 30630 transactions. The growth in the volume of work performed by the CCI of Turkmenistan amounted to 104.7%. The growth in the volume of production of food products by SPPT amounted to 111.7%, industrial goods - 106.7%.
