The head of Turkmenistan names priorities of regional cooperation

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov named priority areas of regional cooperation at the Sixth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of CA countries. This is reported by the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that one of the important tasks for Central Asian countries today is to integrate the transport system to create new transport corridors in Eurasia using the full range of geographical and logistical advantages.

In this regard, the head of Turkmenistan proposed to start creating modern logistics, improving legislation, mutual provision of customs, tariff and other privileges in the near future. In the context of energy cooperation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of meeting the growing energy needs of the Central Asian five countries.
