Co-chairmen of the Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Partnership meet in Tbilisi

Co-chairmen of the Turkmen-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation met in Tbilisi on June 5. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan was represented at the meeting by Minister of Trade and Economic Relations B. Gochmollaev, the Georgian side was represented by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia L. Davitashvili.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of bilateral partnership in trade and economy, investment, transportation, logistics and energy spheres. The representatives of the countries agreed to further develop bilateral relations in scientific, educational, sports and tourism fields.

The fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Turkmenistan and Georgia is being held in Tbilisi from June 5 to 6 this year.
