Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Malaysia Mukhametniyaz Mashalov met with Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Dato Ahmad Rozian bin Abd Gani on September 6. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
During the meeting, the sides discussed preparations for the upcoming visit of Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hassan to Turkmenistan. In addition, the interlocutors discussed topics related to the strengthening of bilateral ties.
The Ambassador also noted that preparations are underway for high-level inter-ministerial political consultations. Earlier, the prospects for bilateral cooperation were discussed by Ambassador M. Mashalov with Malaysian Defense Minister Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
