Turkish airline company Turkish Airlines has canceled the mandatory provision of PCR test for COVID-19 for citizens of Turkmenistan, who fly from Turkey to Ashgabat and Turkmenbashi. This is reported by Orient news with reference to the official website of Turkish Airlines.
Now citizens of Turkmenistan will undergo PCR testing upon arrival to their country.
Earlier, it was reported that S7 Airlines and Belavia took similar measures to cancel the provision of PCR tests for Turkmenistanis returning to the country from Russia and Belarus.
All other passengers on flights from the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan are still required to submit a PCR test no later than 48 hours before boarding the flight.
