The Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan will create a scientific and production association together with the Aýdyň gijeler economic society. This was announced by Azat Ataev, pro-rector of the university for scientific work, candidate of technical sciences, in an interview with the newspaper Turkmenistan.

The Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan was established by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on June 12, 2019. The university was founded on the basis of the former Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communication. Currently, the institute trains specialists in 21 disciplines at five faculties.
The Aýdyň gijeler business company is a major producer of educational computers for first-graders. Last summer, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan purchased 73,885 training computers made in Turkmenistan from the company.
