On January 16, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan hosted an event dedicated to the declaration of 2024 in Turkmenistan as the year of "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Clue of Mind". This was reported by the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the preparation of events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the outstanding poet and thinker of the East Makhtumkuli Fraghi. The special significance of the literary heritage of the Turkmen poet was noted.
In addition, the presentation of the book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Youth is the backbone of the Motherland" was held. At the end of the meeting, a documentary film about Makhtumkuli Fraghi entitled "Hakyň guly - Magtymguly" produced by the Oguzkhan Turkmenfilm Association in Azerbaijan was shown.
