Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan V. Hajiyev and President of Tsukuba University Nagata Kyosuke held talks on September 5. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in various areas. V. Hajiyev emphasized that the main direction of the bilateral partnership is the cultural and humanitarian sphere, in particular, science, education and Japanese language study.
It was noted that cooperation between the University of Tsukuba and D. Azadi National Institute of World Languages and Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology is actively developing.
The parties highlighted exchange educational programs between the universities of the countries as promising areas for further cooperation.
