Ambassador A. Annaev held talks with co-chairman of the Romanian part of the inter-parliamentary Turkmen-Romanian friendship group A.K. Kolchar at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania today. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation in various areas, including political and diplomatic, trade and economic, fuel and energy, transportation and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The positive dynamics of development of inter-parliamentary cooperation was noted.
In addition, the sides discussed joint events on the occasion of celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi, which will further strengthen cultural and humanitarian ties.
