"Turkmen dastarkhan": celebration of national cuisine at EXPO-2025

Osaka, July 28 - Arzuw.news. A festive reception dedicated to the national cuisine of the Turkmen people was held at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at the EXPO-2025 World Exhibition in Osaka, Japan, on July 26. The event was held under the motto "Turkmen dastarkhan", the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan reported. The participants of the event were able to taste traditional Turkmen cuisine, including national pastries, pilaf and dogram.

A master class on cooking the national dish Dogram attracted special attention, during which the guests studied the peculiarities of traditional Turkmen cooking. The cultural program allowed the Japanese visitors to get acquainted with the gastronomic traditions of Turkmenistan.

The day before, on July 25, the Turkmen-Japanese Business Forum was held at the same National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at EXPO-2025, which emphasizes the country's active participation in the international exhibition and the development of bilateral relations with Japan.
