Turkmenistan and South Sudan discuss preparations for UN conference

Ashgabat, July 11 - Arzuw.news. Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with his counterpart from the Republic of South Sudan Monday Simaya Kumba. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the talks, the foreign ministers of the two countries exchanged views on a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and South Sudan.

The Ministers paid special attention to the preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3). The sides discussed coordination of efforts within the framework of the forthcoming international forum.

This telephone conversation confirms the aspiration of both countries to strengthen mutually beneficial partnership and active participation in multilateral international initiatives.
