Popular Turkmen singer Ahmet Atadjanov will defend the country's honor at the Asian Pacific Broadcasting Union's ABU TV Song Festival in New Delhi, India.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 27, as part of the ABU General Assembly #59, a week-long gathering of more than 250 broadcasters from 67 countries.
The ABU TV song contest will feature performers from eight countries: India, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Turkey, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and Kazakhstan.
Akhmet Atadjanov is the winner of the grand prize of the "Star of the Year 2017" contest. He has already represented Turkmenistan at the ABU RADIO Song radio song contest in 2018.
