A delegation from Turkmenistan will take part in an international scientific seminar dedicated to the preservation of intangible cultural heritage of the CIS member states in situations of global challenges. The practical seminar will be held from November 15 to 17 in Belarus.
Representatives of Turkmenistan intend to share their experience in identifying and inventorying intangible assets along with their colleagues from other states. The sides will discuss the main directions in state regulation and policies that can preserve and ensure full security of the cultural heritage of the CIS countries. Each participating country will share its unique experience in this field at the forum. The parties will consider the implementation of the Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The international seminar is timed to coincide with the Year of Cultural Heritage, its organizers are the Ministry of Culture of Belarus and the Belarusian University of Culture and Arts. The main goal of the seminar is to improve intercultural dialogue of the Commonwealth countries and to strengthen partnership in the humanitarian sphere.
