According to the results of the Turkmenistan Wushu Cup held in Ashgabat, the athletes who will go to the United States to participate in the World Wushu Martial Art Championship from November 16 to 20 have been determined. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
Shirmyrat Berdyev has been the head coach of the national team since 2012. The head coach's pupils have repeatedly become participants and winners of international competitions.
Training in preparation for the World Championships takes place twice a day - in the morning and evening for two hours, six days a week. They include strength, flexibility and endurance exercises.
Turkmen athletes will compete at the World Wushu Championship in the discipline of wushu-sanda. Sanda is a full-contact fight, which includes strikes with hands and feet, throwing and grappling techniques.
