Turkmenistan participated in the educational forum of university rectors

On November 20, a delegation from Turkmenistan took part in the forum of rectors of universities in Bishkek. About it reports Westiabad online edition.

N. Kuliev (Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan), B. Tanryberdiev (Turkmen State Financial Institute) and O. Ovezsahedov (Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli) spoke at the forum on behalf of Turkmenistan. In their speeches, the rectors spoke about innovations in the education sector of Turkmenistan, especially noting the "smart" city of Arkadag, where the latest technologies are being introduced to educate students.

Rectors from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan also took part in the event. The plenary sessions discussed the introduction of digital technologies in education, and also touched upon the topics of inter-sectoral interaction between science, business and education.
