Turkmenistan held a meeting with the Special Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China

On Thursday, November 21, Turkmenistan's Foreign Ministry held talks with Yue Xiaoyong, Special Envoy of the Chinese Foreign Ministry for Afghanistan. Turkmenistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Serdar Muhammetdurdyev attended the meeting. This is reported on the website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The interlocutors exchanged views on priority areas of cooperation and touched upon the implementation of previously reached agreements. The sides also discussed preparations for the upcoming 5th meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighboring states to be held in Turkmenistan.

It was noted that PRC and Turkmenistan continue to support Afghanistan in economic reconstruction in accordance with the principles of good neighborliness and friendship.
