Turkmenistan participated in the 2nd meeting of border agencies with Iran

The Turkmen delegation took part in the 2nd meeting of border agencies with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting was held at the Lotfabad customs post in Khorasan-Razavi province of Iran. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

During the visit, the delegation of Turkmenistan, which included specialists from the border, customs and migration services, as well as employees of Turkmenavtouglary and Turkmendemiryollary, familiarized themselves with the infrastructure of the Lotfabad customs post and the digital customs clearance system in use. The representatives of Turkmenistan were shown the capabilities of X-ray equipment for inspection of large-sized trucks.

In the course of the meeting, attention was paid to the discussion of the topical issue of increasing the working hours of Artyk-Lotfabad customs posts in the period from November to January.
