The online conference "Makhtumkuli Fraghi - poet of all times and peoples" was held in Turkmenistan

A scientific and methodological conference between universities of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan was held in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker, philosopher and poet of Turkmenistan. The event entitled "Makhtumkuli Fraghi - a poet of all times and peoples" was held in the online format. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age." 

The event was attended by teachers and students of the largest universities - S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and Tashkent State Agrarian University.

During the conference, Sayyora Khalmizrayeva, Head of the Uzbek Language and Literature Department of Tashkent University, emphasized that modern literary scholars of Uzbekistan highly appreciate the creative heritage of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. At present, an in-depth study of the works of the recognized Turkmen classic is underway with the aim of its further wide popularization.
