Turkmenistan participated in a meeting on the development of transit corridors

A trilateral meeting on the development of transit corridors was held in Kabul with the participation of the Minister of Trade and Industry of Afghanistan N. Azizi, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan S. Zhumangarin and Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M. Chakyev. The new arrangements will facilitate rapid transit of container trains from China through Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, and then to Pakistan, India and Middle East countries. Thus, the transit time of cargoes from China to Afghanistan will be reduced to 10-12 days, and, accordingly, the cost of delivery will be significantly reduced. The establishment of a working group has been agreed to implement the agreements reached.
