Turkmenistan continues to work on the implementation of international initiatives

On the eve of the opening of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, Turkmenistan has developed the country's priorities for the next period. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Peacekeeping issues are of particular importance in the implementation of international initiatives. In this context, Turkmenistan upholds the principles of security integrity. During the 78th session of the UNGA, Turkmenistan continues to be guided by the principles of neutrality and non-interference.

Turkmenistan's strategy includes preventive diplomacy and neutralization of conflicts, settlement of disputes and contradictions, and restoration of trustful dialogue.
Turkmenistan proposes the establishment of a Conference on Security in Central Asia and Adjacent Regions.
In addition, Turkmenistan is ready to assist the United Nations in solving food problems, in this regard, a forum on food security is proposed.
