"Turkmengaz and Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd expand international cooperation

On July 29, leaders of the State Concern Turkmengaz held another round of consultations with a delegation from South Korea's Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd. headed by the company's Senior Vice President Jung Song Yong, TDH reported.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current status and prospects for the development of the fourth phase of the Galkynysh field. The Korean side expressed its readiness to use its experience in the energy sector for the successful implementation of the "Galkynysh" project. The importance of implementation of previously reached agreements and continuation of regular meetings was emphasized. The need to fulfill the agreements reached during the mutual visits at the highest state level in 2023-2024 was also emphasized.

The talks held in the country's oil and gas complex confirmed the high interest of foreign companies in the energy sector of Turkmenistan. The implementation of joint projects will not only increase the volume of Turkmen natural gas exports, but also attract additional investments in the country's economy.
