Moscow, July 19 - Arzuw.news. The Turkmen delegation headed by Ambassador E. Aidogdyev took part in the 106th meeting of the CIS Economic Council, which was held yesterday in the Russian capital. This was reported by Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
During the meeting, the participants discussed key issues of economic interaction between the Commonwealth member states and considered draft documents on various areas of cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the issues of regional energy security, peaceful use of nuclear energy, pricing in the construction industry, as well as the development of forestry and the timber industry.
The participants of the meeting analyzed the implementation in 2024 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the first stage of the CIS Economic Development Strategy for the period until 2030, designed for 2021-2025.
The next meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States is scheduled for September 5 this year in Dushanbe.
