Turkmenistan participates in the ESCAP session in Bangkok

The Turkmen delegation is taking part in the 79th session of ESCAP, which started on May 15 at the UN Conference Center in Bangkok. The session will last until May 19 this year. This is reported by the official website of the country's Foreign Ministry.

The ESCAP session will bring together representatives of Asian and Pacific States to develop actions in the face of climate change within the region and beyond.
The Turkmen delegation is headed by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.

The overarching theme of the 79th session of ESCAP is "Accelerating climate action in Asia and the Pacific for sustainable development". Discussions on relevant issues under this theme will contribute to strengthening collaboration on climate change.
