President of Turkmenistan meets with the Vice-President of the Republic of Malawi

Avaza, August 7 - Arzuw.news. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Vice President of the Republic of Malawi Michael Bizuik Usi, who arrived in the country to participate in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, Michael Bizuik Usi conveyed greetings from Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera to the head of Turkmenistan. The conference is being held on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea to develop transport and transit corridors and strengthen interregional cooperation.

Turkmenistan has expressed readiness to develop political, diplomatic, trade and economic ties with the Republic of Malawi. Both countries are in favor of intensifying cooperation within the framework of the United Nations.

The sides noted the significant potential for cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture, healthcare, education and scientific research. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Vice President Wuxi reaffirmed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation between the states.
