Turkmenistan initiated the creation of the dialog "CA+ASEAN"

Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov made a proposal at a meeting of the Government of Turkmenistan to start the realization of Turkmenistan's initiative to create a dialog "Central Asia + ASEAN". This is reported by the Internet edition SNG.Today. 

This proposal was voiced by the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan within the report on the visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Malaysia - the country that will be the Chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in 2025.

Rashid Meredov submitted a proposal for the Head of State's consideration to form a special mechanism of interstate partnership with Malaysia, which would be the Coordination Committee. The President of the country approved the Minister's proposals and instructed to continue active work to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
