Turkmenistan to participate in Silk Road Expo

The Turkmen delegation headed by Director of the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan Meretgeldy Chariev will take part in the Silk Road Expo. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The event will be held on September 6-7 this year in the Chinese city of Dunhuang. The Turkmen delegation includes 10 museum specialists of the country. Museum exhibits from the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan will be presented at the Expo in Dunhuang.

Turkmenistan's participation in an international exhibition of this scale reflects one of the main directions of the country's policy, which is the preservation, study and popularization of cultural heritage, as stated in the approved "Concept of Development of International Exhibition Activities of Turkmenistan for 2024-2025".
