Reconstruction of oil refinery complex started in Turkmenistan

The State Concern "Turkmenneft" reconstructs deep oil refining units at the Seyidinsky oil refinery. This is reported by the State News Agency "Turkmenistan Today".

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, who is in charge of the fuel and energy sector, reported to the President on the implementation of the project to modernize the country's oil refining complexes during an online meeting of the Government on December 22, 2023.

Deputy Prime Minister noted that modernization of refinery units and introduction of modern innovative technologies will ensure continuous uninterrupted operation of Seyidinskiy oil refinery.

Having heard the report of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that utilization of oil and gas enterprises at full capacity is one of the priority tasks within the framework of sustainable economic development of the country.
