First passenger flight from Ashgabat to Bangkok performed

On December 22, direct air service between the capitals of Turkmenistan and Thailand resumed. This was reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

On Friday, December 22, the first flight from Ashgabat to Bangkok took place. Regular passenger transportation on the Ashgabat-Bangkok-Ashgabat route will be carried out every Friday and Saturday by a modern Boeing 777-300 airliner of Turkmenhovayollary Agency.

The aircraft has a comfortable cabin for 368 passengers and can cover a distance of 11,390 kilometers at a speed of up to 905 kilometers per hour. Direct air service between Turkmenistan and Thailand will contribute to the expansion of business contacts, strengthening trade and economic ties between Turkmenistan and Southeast Asian countries, as well as the development of tourism.
