The Mejlis of Turkmenistan has adopted 36 laws this year

Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova told a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on December 6 about the adoption of 36 laws by the Mejlis for the period from January to November this year. This is reported by the online edition "Westiabad." 

D. Gulmanova also informed the President of Turkmenistan about the adoption of 22 resolutions during three sessions of the Mejlis during 11 months of 2024. A number of legal acts were also amended in accordance with the Constitution and international norms.

The head of the Mejlis noted that 42 inter-parliamentary meetings were held this year and 15 foreign ambassadors carrying out diplomatic missions in Turkmenistan were accredited.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of work on improving the legal framework.
