Turkmen-Croatian relations received new guidelines in Ashgabat

The Croatian Minister conveyed greetings from President Zoran Milanović and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to the National Leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In response, the Turkmen president expressed warm words and noted that the visit would be an incentive for further development of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan, relying on the status of a country with permanent neutrality, builds friendly relations with all states and actively cooperates with the UN. The President stressed that relations with Croatia are developing on the principles of mutual respect and benefit, noting the joint contribution of both countries to international initiatives and support for each other in elections to international organizations.

The program of the visit of the Croatian delegation includes a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, where it is planned to discuss the development of partnership in trade, energy, transport and other spheres. There will also be a business forum with the participation of representatives of business circles of the two countries.

The sides expressed readiness to expand political, economic and humanitarian cooperation and reaffirmed their willingness to maintain a constructive dialog.
