Turkmen judokas win medals at Warsaw European Open 2024

Turkmen judoists won gold and silver medals at the tournament "Warsaw European Open 2024" that ended in Poland. This is reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.

The gold medalist was 19-year-old Maisa Pardayeva, who competed in the weight category up to 57 kg.
30 athletes from 25 countries competed for medals. Pardayeva won the gold medal with five clean victories over opponents from Slovenia, Austria, China and France. The final bout was held with Spanish athlete Marta Garcia Martin.

Turkmen 20-year-old judoka Serdar Rakhimov won the silver medal in the weight category up to 66 kg. Along with him, 48 athletes from 36 countries fought for medals. Having won four clean victories, Serdar took second place in the final fight, losing to a Ukrainian athlete.
