Turkmenistan hosts a conference on cancer treatment

The Scientific-Clinical Center of Oncology of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat hosted an international scientific-practical conference on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer diseases. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online edition.

The forum was attended by doctors from Ashgabat and Velayat oncology centers, medical and specialized educational institutions of Ashgabat, leading specialists from Germany, the Republic of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Belarus.

There was an exchange of opinions and presentation of achievements in the field of cancer prevention, discussion of therapeutic and surgical methods of treatment and the use of laboratory tests. Then new developments of scientists in this area were considered in the format of a round table.
