Turkmen musicians won the International Festival

Musicians and singers from Turkmenistan, as well as from Turkey, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, South Korea and Japan took part in the 3rd International Festival of Bakhshi Art in Uzbekistan. Turkmen musicians were honored with victory in the nomination "Best Performance of Destan". This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

In addition to the musical competition, the festival included a conference entitled "Modern Bakhshi Art: New Melodies of the Golden Heritage", where the ways of improving folk music creativity were discussed.

Turkmenistan attaches special importance to the preservation of indigenous traditions, including in the art of bakhshi. One of the directions of the state policy is to involve the younger generation in the preservation of folklore traditions.
